Why should I participate in the Member's Spotlight?

This is an excellent opportunity to enhance your visibility and connect with potential clients and partners.

When does the Member's Spotlight take place?

These sessions occur during our popular Coffee Connections events.

Who attends the Coffee Connections events?

The events are attended by a diverse group of over 60 delegates, providing a wide audience for your business introduction.

What benefits do I receive from participating in the Member's Spotlight?

You will have the chance to present your ideas and services, and we will professionally record your pitch and introduction. Additionally, we will create a short video featuring you and your business at no extra cost.

Pitch Rules
  • New members interested in pitching must attend at least three Edinburgh Connections events to foster engagement with our community.
  • To secure a pitch slot, please directly contact Colin via LinkedIn.
  • Pitch slots are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • To ensure fair opportunities for all members, previous pitchers will need to wait for the next available slot.
Pitching Best Practcie
  • Introduce Yourself: clearly state your name and the name of your business.
  • Speak Slowly and Clearly: avoid using jargon or technical terms that might confuse your audience.
  • Leverage Your Network: ask your audience if they know anyone who could benefit from your product or service.
  • Engage: encourage questions, comments, and feedback.
  • Strong Call to Action: clearly state what you want your audience to do, whether it's attending an event, scheduling a meeting, or making a purchase.
  • Build Relationships: focus on building human connections and rapport with your audience.
  • Remember to practice, be confident, and be yourself.
